Vorsteiner Releases VRS Aero Package for the BMW X6 M [with VIDEO]

Following a teaser announcement back in March, German tuning specialist Vorsteiner has launched its new VRS Aero Package for the BMW X6 M crossover. Trying to improve the X6 M's appereance ain't an easy task, though Vorsteiner seems to have pulled this one off with its new kit.

At the front, the Germans opted for a carbon fiber front spoiler, which increases downforce on the front axle while also channeling more air towards the engine and brakes. The new hood is also made from the same lightweight material and features vents that extract the heat produced by the stock 555 hp twin-turbocharged V8.

Vorsteiner Dresses the BMW M3 Sedan with Dry Carbon Aero Kit

Oddly enough, Vorsteiner has released a new dry carbon aero kit for the 2008 BMW M3 E90 Sedan, a model that was in the market only for a few months as the Bavarian automaker replaced it shortly after its market introduction in early 2008 with the facelifted 2009MY M3 sedan. But anyway, the California-based tuner's proposal include various lightweight dry carbon components such as a trunk lid, a front-lip spoiler and a rear diffuser with integrated fins.

The exterior aerodynamic package consists of two components, a front fascia and a rear diffuser both of which will be (hand)made to order rather than mass produced.

Nissan GT-R Ventross - Carscoop The tuner's new GT-R front fascia comes with larger carbon fiber air intakes for the radiators and includes additional side louver openings feeding air to the brakes through the front fender lining slats along with a more aggressively styled front spoiler that attaches to the factory under tray.

Porsche 911 Turbo V-RT Aero Package by Vorsteiner

California-based tuner Vorsteiner that specializes on Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche models, has released a new aerodynamic and alloy wheel package for the Porsche 911 Turbo (997) called "V-RT". Up front, the exterior kit adds a new front fascia that features larger carbon fiber air intakes for the radiators and elimination of the fog lights like the factory 997 GT2 as well as a removable dry carbon fiber front lower spoiler. According to Vorsteiner, the new bumper assembly is lighter than the factory bumper.

The 997 Turbo's rear-end receives a new and wider bumper with enlarged side intercooler extraction vents that house a replacement dry carbon fiber shroud plus a new molded carbon fiber rear diffuser with integrated twin aero fins that encompass the quad sport exhaust tips. The VR-T aero package is completed with a carbon composite rear deck lid/engine cover with twin ram air scoops.

Finally, Vorsteiner has developed a new set of seven-spoke, 3-piece forged wheels with a race-inspired center mesh design that are available in 19- and 20-inch configurations.

Vorsteiner M3 Titanium Exhaust System

Those who are lucky enough to own the latest BMW M3 in either sedan or coupe form but are rather displeased at how un-premium their backbox and tailpipes look (especially the sedan where the backbox is unshielded from sight and displayed quite prominently) can now opt for the Vorsteiner M3 Titanium Exhaust.

There are a few benefits to fitting this exhaust system. Immediate effects can be felt via shaving 16.8kg off the car’s total weight because the Vorsteiner system is lighter than the factory system, as well as adding 14 horsepower and 18Nm of torque to the engine’s output.

Vorsteiner promises an “F1-like” exhaust tone with no interior drone. A Vorsteiner BMW M3 titanium exhaust can be identified via its logo laser-etched on the tops as well as a serial number stamped for authenticity. The 90mm exhaust tips can optionally be had with a blue-torched look, which is shown above.
