Nissan Prices 2011 Quest from $27,750*, Releases new TV Spot


The new fourth-generation Quest minivan has arrived at Nissan's U.S. dealerships with prices ranging from $27,750 for the entry level S to $41,350 for the fully equipped LE model. Keep in mind that none of the above prices (*) include destination and handling charges. Available with one-touch sliding doors and three rows of seats that can accommodate up to seven passengers, the redesigned Quest is offered in four trim levels (S, SV, SL and LE), all powered by a standard 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine matched to Nissan’s Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

Today, Nissan also released the first media campaign for the Quest, highlighted by a new 30-second television spot titled “Errands", which unsurprisingly features a mom and her hectic lifestyle - how original... Nissan Announces Nine Models for Tokyo Auto Salon Including Juke Sporty and Leaf Aero Concept


At the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon 2011 with NAPAC (Japan Car Parts and Aftermarket Promotion Association), to be held from January 14 to 16, Nissan, together with Autech Japan and its in-house NISMO performance division, will premiere a total of nine vehicles.

Highlights will include the zero-emission LEAF Aero Style Concept equipped with a futuristic looking bodykit and matching alloy wheel designs, and a special version of the Juke fitted with exterior accessories designed for the European and North American market models.

Autech Japan will showcase three vehicles, including the Elgrand Rider Premium Concept, which is the JDM version of the N.A. Quest minivan, the customized Serena Rider and the March-Based Bolero (Micra for those outside Japan).

Finally, NISMO will present its new production race car, the GT-R RC, alongside the tuned 355HP Fairlady Z (370Z) and the GT-R racecar that competed in the 2010 SUPER GT series.

LA Show 2010: Nissan introduces the 2011 Quest Minivan


Joining the Allure sedan concept and the oddball Murano CrossCabriolet at Nissan's LA Show stand today is the family-oriented 2011 Quest minivan. Built on Nissan's D-platform and motivated by a 3.5-liter 253 hp V6 engine, the fourth generation Quest has a more eye-catching design, improved interior and power sliding side doors. Sales in the US are scheduled to start in early 2011.

2010 Los Angeles Show to Host More Than 20 World Premieres


This year's edition of the Los Angeles Auto Show will play host to more than 20 world debuts as well as 20 or so North American premieres, organizers of the event revealed on Thursday. "The growing global significance of the LA show is clearly demonstrated by the number and importance of the debuts," said Andy Fuzesi, general manager of the LA Auto Show.

Nissan Drops New Pictures of 2011 Quest Minivan


After the release of a single teaser photo of the all-new, next generation Quest minivan back in April, Nissan today published a full set of images (albeit slightly smoked out) of the full-size people carrier ahead of its world premiere at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

The Japanese automaker is still keeping details on the new Quest under wraps, but it is believed that the next generation minivan with sliding rear-doors will be powered by Nissan's venerable 3.7-liter V6 engine.

Scheduled to go on sale in the U.S. in early 2011, the new Quest will compete with the redesigned for the 2011MY Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey minivans. More photos after the break.
