On Friday, April 17, the Ford Mustang will be celebrating its 45th birthday and we thought we'd get you into the mood with these classic pony car advertisements that cover the first four generation models of the 'Stang from 1964 to 2004. Since the introduction of the Mustang on April 17, 1964, at the New York World's Fair, Ford has sold more than 9 million pony cars from a total of six generation models, the latest of which was unveiled at the LA Show in November 2008.
