Ford Sues U.S. Government for $445 Million in Tax Overpayments!

Ford Motor Company has filed a lawsuit against the… U.S. government claiming that the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) owes the struggling automaker $445 million for interest on tax overpayments. According to a report from Bloomberg, Ford said in the lawsuit that the tax overpayments occurred in 1983 to 1989, 1992 and 1994. However, since the $445 million figure is interest accumulated as of April 30, the American automaker plans to seek additional interest after April!
